Fiscal year 2016-17 in review should include welcoming and working closely with our new OCS Superintendent Greg Schultz and reaching our highest ever revenue number. Our revenue growth is due to generous grantors and individual donors, and two successful first year events - Dinner on Main and the spring Bracket Breakfast.

In 2017, OCEF initiated the exciting Community Partners program - designed to honor and promote local businesses and their support of OCS students and education. OCEF worked to build greater awareness of OCEF's programs through increased community presence including presentations and social media. And hey, did you happen to see our OCEF "Apple" traveling around the county?

In 2016-17, we awarded the largest number of Pyramid Awards since its inception and witnessed the tremendous growth of the Arvin Center - both the physical building, and the number of exciting engineering and biomedical programs. And, the OCS Arts Center continues to expand its offerings, not only to students but to the entire community. OCEF's support of the GATES program ensures that our gifted and talented students are inspired and challenged. Camp Literacy Live, a critical literacy intervention summer program for students entering first grade, garners OCEF's strong support while engaging additional partners to ensure overall success.
