OCEF Board Welcomes New Members

The Oldham County Educational Foundation is proud to welcome these two new members to its board.

Paula Gish – Paula is a long time resident of Oldham County and she and her husband Glen live in the Goshen area. Paula was extremely active in school PTA activities during the time her children moved through the Oldham County Schools, and has continued to be a strong supporter following her children's school careers. Paula served as a magistrate on Fiscal Court for several years before serving Oldham County as Deputy Judge Executive during Duane Murner's tenure as Judge Executive. Most recently, Paula completed an assignment in the Special Projects Office at U of L. We feel very fortunate to be able to have a person of Paula's experience and stature join the OCEF board.

Kelly Wathen – Kelly has been an Oldham County resident for only about a year, and also livs in the Goshen area with children attending schools on the North Campus. Kelly comes to us very highly recommended by the Davies County school community in Owensboro. She was instrumental in the formation of the Davies County Educational Association, and served a term as president of that organization before she and her family relocated to Louisville. Kelly is a Vice President & Team Director for BB&T Wealth. We are very fortunate to find a person of Kelly's energy and enthusiasm to join the OCEF board.
